General Manager - The Hilton Garden Inn Redmond

The Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Redmond (slated to open in Q1 of 2020) is seeking a General Manger to open this unique property.  The hotel will be an urban oasis for guests who are looking for a relaxing, welcoming experience with all the latest amenities and technology that travelers have come to expect. The 177 guest rooms will be well appointed with a contemporary Pacific Northwest flair and offer guests a comfortable space to re-charge.  The property will feature over 2400 square feet of unique / flexible meeting space along with a full-service restaurant and bar that will be uniquely branded to the region and provide a distinct culinary experience for guests and locals alike.

Competitive compensation is base salary plus incentive plan.

QUALIFICATIONS

Desirable candidates will have experience in managing a full-service property, with an emphasis on a F&B, lounge and banquet offerings.  Hilton experience is highly preferred.  Qualified candidates will also have experience in cost controls, and the ability to inspire a positive workplace and guest culture to Serve, Inspire and Deliver.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, direct, and manage all hotel operations as well as provide overall leadership in the hotel's ongoing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
  • Passionately uphold a positive workplace culture for team members by listening, empowering and motivating all team members.
  • Ensure property operations are functioning within the financial parameters established in the budget.
  • Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, compliance standards and financial measurements.
  • Identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement measures as necessary to correct those deficiencies.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly the executive team and department heads, by providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling opportunities as well as reward and recognition.
