The Hotel Group is pleased to announce an exciting career opportunity to lead our Sales & Marketing team at our brand new Hilton Garden Inn, Redmond!  The Hotel is currently under construction and scheduled to open Q1 of 2020.

The Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Redmond (slated to open in Q1 of 2020) is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to open this unique property.  The hotel will be an urban oasis for guests who are looking for a relaxing, welcoming experience with all the latest amenities and technology that travelers have come to expect. The 177 guest rooms will be well appointed with a contemporary Pacific Northwest flair and offer guests a comfortable space to re-charge.  The property will feature over 2400 square feet of unique/flexible meeting space along with a full-service restaurant and bar that will be uniquely branded to the region and provide a distinct culinary experience for guests and locals alike.

Competitive compensation is base salary plus incentive plan.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Desirable candidates will have at least two years in a sales leadership role and will be excited about the challenge of opening a new hotel.  Hilton experience is highly preferred.  Qualified candidates will also have experience in the business transient and group market, along with catering experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the Sales team while developing and maintaining relationships with key strategic partners and clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and essential partners, and participate in key organizations as recommended by management.
  • Coordinate ongoing research of the travel industry to detect market trends and related information for developing new marketing strategies and recommendations within multiple channels.
  • Develop and conduct persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients; meet with and entertain clients, which may require travel, and internally promote Hotel programs.
  • Assist with monthly forecast and annual revenue budget, as well as develop and implement annual Marketing Plan.
  • Manage all sales activities to maximize all potential revenue for the Hotel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing
