The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Seattle/Northgate is searching for a Front Desk Manager to direct and supervise the operational activities of the Front Desk, lobby and breakfast area by providing all guests with quality service throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

The Hampton Inn & Suites is located in the Northgate area, off the I-5, with easy access to Northgate Mall and minutes from the heart of downtown Seattle and the University of Washington. The Hotel boasts 167 rooms along with a state of the art fitness room and indoor swimming pool.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure all guests receive a warm and friendly, efficient check-in and check-out experience.
  • Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities, and local interests.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the front desk and public areas to reflect a welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Manage the Front Office team by modeling, empowering, and coaching throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Respond to guest complaints with confidence, grace and action appropriate to the situation.
  • Must have the ability to remain calm and alert, especially during emergency and/or heavy hotel activity.
  • Communicates with other departments to ensure proper responses to guest and group needs.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • A minimum of two years customer service supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two or four-year college degree a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with potential nights, weekends or holidays.
