The New Hilton Garden Inn Bellevue, managed by The Hotel Group (THG) is hiring for a Sales Account Executive to join our growing hospitality team! The primary purpose of this position is to administer all sales-related activities, including direct sales efforts, follow-up and proper sales administration. Responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business to ensure that room revenues meet or exceed budget in order to maximize revenue and profits, and to improve the hotel's performance in the marketplace. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and solicit business from all markets to ensure the necessary advance bookings needed for a successful and profitable hotel operation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key strategic partners, and participate in key organizations as recommended by management.
  • Direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.
  • Develop and conduct persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients; meet with and entertain clients, which may require travel, and internally promote hotel programs.
  • Coordinate ongoing research of the travel industry to detect market trends and related information for development of new marketing strategies and make recommendations to improve potential from various markets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing.

Qualifications: Must have at least three years of experience in hotel/ hospitality sales management with a strong knowledge of the Bellevue/Seattle market. A solid rooms, marketing and revenue management background is preferred.
